Factor_, a brand of HelloFresh, is seeking a Sanitation Lead to coordinate activities and provide coaching to the Sanitation team while ensuring adherence to safety, GMP, and SQF policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform sanitation tasks, including removing waste and debris, transporting empty boxes to compactors, monitoring facility exteriors, sanitizing equipment and floors, and cleaning tools and receptacles.
• Coach employees to follow policies and procedures.
• Support the production department by cleaning and preparing for the next shift.
• Communicate with other departments (e.g., Quality or Production) to collaborate and solve problems.
• Follow direction from supervisors and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (safety, GMP, SQF, PPE, and hygiene policies).
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area while following safety regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on sanitation equipment.
• Report food safety and sanitation issues to a supervisor.

Requirements

• Leadership skills and ability to foster team cooperation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Sheets (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability to Factor_ programs and procedures.
• Food manufacturing experience.

Work Environment

The role operates in a manufacturing and assembly environment with exposure to cool/cold temperatures (10º–40º), fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be loud.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, stoop, reach, and lift for 10–12 hours per day (with or without reasonable accommodation).
• Use hands to handle objects/tools and communicate effectively.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally (with or without assistance).
• Requires close and peripheral vision.

Schedule

• Full-time position with varied shifts:
• Saturday–Tuesday: 4:00 AM–2:30 PM
• Wednesday–Saturday: 2:15 PM–12:45 AM
• Saturday–Tuesday: 8:00 PM–6:30 AM
• Overtime may be required based on operational needs.

Pay

$21.75 USD per hour.
