US Field Medical Affairs, Team Lead - Rheumatology/Dermatology

For our client, we are seeking a US Field Medical Affairs, Team Lead - Rheumatology/Dermatology to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role leads a field-based medical affairs team supporting rheumatology and dermatology initiatives across the U.S. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders to execute disease state strategies, strengthen scientific engagement, and support compliant external interactions. It also plays a key role in developing team capabilities, coaching performance, and helping ensure the group operates with strong ethical and regulatory discipline. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $210,400 – $331,100 annually Responsibilities Manage and onboard a team of field-based medical professionals Assess team performance through observations and stakeholder feedback Support individual development plans for team members Communicate and monitor disease state execution plans Utilize resources to enhance team development Provide input on internal resource development Ensure compliance with ethics and safety guidelines Qualifications MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, or DO with leadership experience in medical affairs 3+ years in a field-based medical role with customer engagement expertise Knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills Understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and ethical guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry Ability to prioritize and motivate a team in a dynamic environment Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and families Retirement benefits including a 401(k) plan Paid holidays and vacation days Compassionate and sick leave days Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
