US English Teacher

Responsibilities

• Teach high school English Language Arts courses (e.g., literature, composition, writing)
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with students and families
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student growth and program development
• Incorporate experiential and interdisciplinary learning opportunities into the curriculum
• Absorb student progress and communicate effectively with families and staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field required
• Master’s degree preferred; Special Education background strongly valued
• Experience Teaching High School English Language Arts Preferred
• Strong content knowledge in literature, writing, and language instruction
• Teaching certification/licensure preferred; teaching experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to engage and support diverse learners, with a strong emphasis on relationship-building
