(US-DC) Area Manager I, RTI

Job Summary

The Area Manager I, Return to Inventory (RTI) oversees inventory monitoring and reporting for the company's operations. The role requires managing multiple teams, maintaining compliance with OSHA standards, and ensuring accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage different teams in the RTI area to achieve results and follow SOPs guidelines
• Communicate with various departments to ensure accurate inventory numbers
• Maintain a safe work environment and control the staging and organization of materials in the RTI cooler
• Coordinate and manage the location of staged inventory
• Support a culture of excellence in product quality and assist in operational documentation review
• Accurately track inventory and create reports
• Manage team members through daily roster and ensure accountability

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory or similar positions
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Working knowledge of inventory management software
• Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
• An analytical mind with strong math skills
• Outstanding organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50-70 lbs
• Able to operate equipment such as forklifts
• Able to adhere to safety practices and programs
• Able to frequently squat, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and reach
• Able to stand for up to 10-12 hours
