Urology Advanced Practitioner(PA/NP) Fellow
About the Role
Lahey Institute of Urology, as a member of the Beth Israel Lahey Health System, is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for their urology fellowship program. This world-renowned Division of Urology provides an ideal setting for innovation in urologic education. The goal is to offer a world-recognized training program to promote APPs in delivering outstanding urologic care and fostering excellence in the future of urologic practice.
Program Objective
The Lahey Hospital Institute of Urology APP Fellowship program prepares certified graduate Physician Assistants (Associates) and Nurse Practitioners to become autonomous urologic providers. Fellows train under the scope of their license in a supportive learning environment with supervising physicians and mentors. The program equips fellows with the urologic knowledge and skill set necessary for inpatient, outpatient, and intraoperative care, enabling sound clinical judgments and proficient performance of urologic skills. Fellows will work at the top of their scope of practice while maintaining self-awareness of their clinical competence.
Program Structure
The fellowship is a 12-month program combining didactic education and clinical rotations while working as a staff APP. The schedule consists of weekday hours, approximately 40 hours weekly, primarily based in the Burlington clinic with occasional travel to satellite Lahey Urology clinics.
- At least one or more years of advanced practice experience is preferred.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Valid NP or PA license in Massachusetts.
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification.
- Strong desire to work in Urology.

Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $93,000.00 USD. Actual compensation is determined based on factors such as seniority, education, training, relevant experience, certifications, geography, and job responsibilities.
