Urologist - Biddeford/Portland, Maine

About the role

MaineHealth Urology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Urologist to join their well-established practice in Biddeford, Maine. This position supports practice outreach initiatives within the MaineHealth system.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of urologic conditions for patients of all ages
• Providing comprehensive care for adult urologic disorders, including BPH, Kidney Stones, Bladder Cancer, and Prostate Cancer
• Offering urodynamic testing and state-of-the-art cystoscopy equipment
• Performing fusion biopsy capability and a wide range of outpatient urological procedures
• Access to the da Vinci Xi robot for advanced procedures
• Serving as a community-based practice with affiliation to the MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Urology Residency
• Involvement in quality projects measuring safety and outcomes to ensure patient-centered care

Requirements

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology
• Experience in general urology
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Current medical license to practice in Maine
• Completion of a urology residency program
