Urogynecology Physician Assistant Surgery

About the role

Baylor Scott & White Health is a large not-for-profit healthcare system dedicated to promoting the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. As part of our urogynecology team, you will support patients in Dallas and Waxahachie with a clinic-based, non-operative role.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical exams
• Diagnose and manage urogynecologic conditions
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies
• Perform in-office procedures, including: Bladder instillations, Pelvic floor therapy with electrical stimulation, Pessary fittings, Vaginal swabs, Urine specimen processing, Urethral catheterization
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Manage pre- and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active Texas PA license
• NCCPA certification
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer
• Experience in urogynecology, urology, or women’s health preferred
• Experience working independently in a clinic-based setting preferred
