About the role

The Uro-Gynecology position at SGMC Health is a full-time, Monday through Thursday position from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with additional hours on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. This role utilizes the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care in obstetrics and gynecology, with a focus on female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
  • Communicate effectively with referring physicians and patients to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and processes.
  • Create a positive and innovative work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an ACGME Obstetrics and Gynecology residency.
  • Completion of an ACGME Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery/Urogynecology fellowship.
  • Board eligibility/certification by the ABOG in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery.
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Georgia.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within an inter-disciplinary team and with referring physicians.
  • Passionate about quality, service excellence, safety, process improvement, program development, and team building.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to create a positive and productive environment that promotes collegiality and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an ACGME Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency.
