URGENT-Spanish-speaking Caregiver

Job Description

We are seeking Spanish-speaking caregivers to join our team in Chicago, IL. As a Caregiver with Home Instead, you will offer essential non-medical services tailored to each client's unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Companionship & Conversation: Build relationships through meaningful interactions.
• Personal Care Support: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene routines while respecting the client’s dignity.
• Meal Prep & Light Housekeeping: Prepare simple, nutritious meals and help keep the home clean and organized.
• Medication Reminders & Routine Monitoring: Ensure clients stay on track with daily tasks and appointments.
• Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care: Offer specialized, patient-centered support for individuals living with cognitive challenges.
• Transportation & Errands: Help clients maintain independence by assisting with appointments and daily errands.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Preferably 6+ months of caregiving or healthcare experience (not required—we provide paid training!).
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Physically able to assist with caregiving duties, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Able to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, drug screening, and fingerprinting (we’ll guide you through the process!)
