Urgent Need - SIEM/SOAR Engineer (Google SecOps)

About the role

We are seeking a SIEM/SOAR Engineer responsible for configuring, integrating, and optimizing Google SecOps capabilities, including log ingestion, detection workflows, automation, and security operations processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure Google SecOps ingestion pipelines and data connectors.
• Integrate security telemetry from enterprise applications, cloud environments, and infrastructure sources.
• Develop and maintain SIEM detection content and SOAR automation workflows.
• Create and optimize security analytics rules, alerts, and investigation workflows.
• Support parser validation and troubleshooting for security data sources.
• Develop incident response playbooks and automation workflows.
• Tune detections to reduce false positives and improve analyst efficiency.
• Support operational documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications

• Experience engineering SIEM solutions such as Google SecOps, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or similar platforms.
• Experience developing SOAR playbooks and security automation workflows.
• Knowledge of security event analysis, log management, and incident response.
• Experience with cloud security monitoring and enterprise security integrations.
• Familiarity with scripting or automation languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) preferred.
