About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and patient helper to support a 35-year-old female client currently on a voluntary mental health hold. The role focuses on providing emotional support, structure, and assistance with daily activities in a safe and respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with ADLs (daily living activities)
• Offer medication reminders/support
• Provide transportation to doctor's appointments, therapy, and errands
• Assist with shopping and light tasks as needed

Requirements

• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Experience with mental health support preferred
• Patient, calm, and understanding demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic, non-judgmental, and emotionally supportive, with the ability to create a calm and structured environment for the client

Pay

$14.16 per hour

To be determined; potentially 3 days per week, a few hours per day
