URGENT Caregiver Needed 12hr Shift

About the Role

River Oaks Homecare, a "Great Place to Work" and Philadelphia 100 Award Winner, is expanding and looking for dedicated Caregivers to join our brand-new residential home in Phoenixville, PA. This role offers a consistent, stable routine in a beautiful residential setting rather than traveling between multiple client homes.

Pay

$16.00 per hour with same-day pay available.

Schedule

12-hour daily shifts (3-4 days a week).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their comfort and dignity are always a priority.
• Implement routines that support individuals with unique sensory processing needs, ensuring a calm and structured living space.
• Use patient, positive redirection, and communication techniques to support residents through various behavioral challenges and emotional regulation.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to specific dietary requirements or textures, assisting with feeding as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment to reduce overstimulation and ensure safety.
• Foster a supportive atmosphere through engaging activities, errands, and social interaction that honors each resident’s unique personality.
• Drive residents in a company-provided vehicle to community events and doctor's appointments.
• Provide vital medication reminders and closely monitor health or behavioral changes to ensure the highest quality of care.

Requirements

• Compassionate, respectful, and ethical with a heart for service.
• Previous caregiving, CNA, or HHA residential experience is a plus.
• Basic cooking and housekeeping knowledge.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the US.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred (but we can help you get it).
