About the role
PawDoc is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our team in Katy, Texas. This position will help us bridge the gap between general practice and emergency care, offering non-life-threatening urgent care for pets.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat non-life-threatening medical conditions in pets
- Perform routine and specialized procedures under supervision
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure they understand their pet’s care plan
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions to stay updated on best practices
- Provide compassionate care and build strong relationships with clients and pets
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
- Current state license to practice veterinary medicine
- Experience in urgent care and/or emergency medicine preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of veterinary medicine
- Passionate about providing exceptional care to pets and their families
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

Pay
$130,000 starting base salary, plus sign-on and relocation bonuses available
