Urgent Care Veterinarian
About the role
PawDoc Urgent Care and Surgery Dental Center is opening a brand-new center in Tacoma, Washington in January 2027. We are looking for an Urgent Care doctor to join our team, bridging the gap between general practice and emergency/overnight care by offering non-life-threatening urgent care for pets in need.
This role is ideal for:
- Emergency veterinarians ready to step away from the intensity of overnight or high-acuity ER shifts.
- Experienced general practitioners eager to broaden their scope in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Newer veterinarians seeking hands-on experience outside of general practice, with growth opportunities in a supportive culture.

Responsibilities
- Provide non-life-threatening urgent care for pets in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Apply strong diagnostic skills with an adaptable, thoughtful approach to patient care.
- Communicate effectively with clients and support staff.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
- Interest in urgent care, emergency medicine, or building clinical confidence.
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
