Urgent Care Veterinarian

About the role

We are seeking a veterinarian to join our urgent care team at Bedford Veterinary Medical Center and its partner hospital, Lowell Rd Veterinary Center. The practice provides state‑of‑the‑art, comprehensive animal care to dogs and cats in Southern New Hampshire, operating 7 days a week with advanced equipment including ultrasound, digital radiography, dental X‑ray, and an in‑house laboratory.

Schedule

Full‑time or part‑time positions are available to support urgent‑care hours. Available shifts include:

• Monday‑Friday: 6 pm – 10 pm
• Saturday: 9 am – 9 pm
• Sunday: 9 am – 8 pm
• Any combination of the above hours is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university
• Active veterinary state license
• Current DEA license preferred but not required
• USDA accreditation preferred but not required
• Experience working in an emergency or urgent‑care setting is highly desired
