Urgent Care Provider (PA/FNP)
About the role
We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Chai Care. Kindness is at the heart of our mission, and we aim to serve the community in the best way possible.
Responsibilities
- Interview, examine, and diagnose patient’s injuries and/or illnesses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and suggest lifestyle changes.
- Review and maintain patient’s medical histories, records and record patients' progress.
- Provide documentation for insurance companies.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in an Emergency Room or Urgent Care setting.
- Ability to examine patients, diagnose injuries and illnesses as well as provide treatment.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in your state.
- Completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner program.
