About the role
The Ideal Candidate PA/NP with 2 years of Urgent Care, Family Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine experience, with the ability to work as a solo provider. Ability to work a base schedule with an average of 3 shifts per week, every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care services in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Assess and manage patient conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing medical education and training.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
- At least 2 years of experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
- Experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with electronic health record systems.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams (e.g., NCLEX-PN, PANCE).

Pay
$88.00 per hour
Schedule
Shifts vary from weekday to weekend, as coverage is needed. Open 8a-8p, 7 days a week.
