Urgent Care Physician – On Call

Position Details

• This is an on-call position.
• No associated FTE and is not benefit eligible.
• Shifts range from 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on site.
• Extended hours at two clinics require evening availability until 11pm.
• Other sites have standard hours Monday – Friday, 7 am – 8 pm; Saturday & Sunday, 7 am – 5 pm.
• This is a per-diem/as needed position with no guaranteed minimum number of shifts, hours, or compensation.
• Average compensation ranges from $2000 - $3000 per shift. Actual earnings may vary significantly based on shifts worked, productivity, and specialty mix.

About the Role

Vancouver Clinic is a multispecialty clinic with a physician-owned model that prioritizes high-quality patient care and a strong work-life balance. The Urgent Care Department is seeking a BE/BC Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or IM/Peds trained physician to work on an on-call basis. Candidates should be available to cover all shifts including evenings and able to manage a wide range of medical conditions across various age groups.

Responsibilities

• Work on an on-call basis for Vancouver Clinic's Urgent Care Department.
• Available to cover all shifts including evenings.
• Manage a variety of medical conditions across different age groups.
• Work extended hours at two clinics, requiring evening availability until 11pm.
• Work standard hours at other sites, Monday – Friday, 7 am – 8 pm; Saturday & Sunday, 7 am – 5 pm.

Requirements

• BE/BC Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or IM/Peds training.
• Availability to cover all shifts including evenings.
• Ability to manage a wide range of medical conditions across different age groups.
• Experience working extended hours at two clinics, requiring evening availability until 11pm.
• Experience working standard hours at other sites, Monday – Friday, 7 am – 8 pm; Saturday & Sunday, 7 am – 5 pm.
