Urgent Care Physician- Lakewood, OH

About the role

The University Hospitals Urgent Care is seeking dedicated physicians who can deliver exceptional patient care. With over 20 centers across Ohio, we aim to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management
• Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction
• Provide patient care within the respective clinical area
• Serve as a resource for patients and staff
• Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication for patient care and reimbursement
• Participate in meetings and activities to support operations
• Enhance professional development and maintain certifications in relevant areas

Requirements

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and Licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (provided by the hospital)
• Maintains eligibility for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
