Urgent Care Physician | Downtown Indianapolis

About the role

Join Indiana University Health Medical Group in an Urgent Care Physician role in Downtown Indianapolis. This position offers leadership and growth opportunities, along with a great work-life balance due to the limited number of required shifts per month. Locations include on-site Laboratory and Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to Pediatric, Adult and Geriatric population
• Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine including injury and illness care, minor procedures, workers' compensation, DOT and sports physicals
• Responsible for appropriateness, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the medical care provided by our physicians and advanced practice providers

Schedule

• 14 clinical shifts per month within our Urgent Care practice
• 1 weekend shift per month
• Holiday rotation

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Emergency medicine and/or urgent care experience preferred, but not required
• Occupational medicine experience preferred, but not required
