About the role
Seeking a certified Physician Assistant to provide orthopedic urgent care at an outpatient clinic. The clinician will work during day shifts, with no call duties, in a facility supported by medical assistants, a midlevel clinician, and on-site surgeons and pain physicians.
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of 30-35 patients daily
- Focusing on acute orthopedic presentations across all ages
- Interpreting x-rays
Requirements
- Active Virginia license
- DEA registration
- Board certification
- Prescriptive authority
Documentation will be completed in Epic EMR.
Skills
Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, adaptable, and possess strong clinical and communication skills.
