Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

About the role

We are seeking progressive and entrepreneurial Per Diem Physician Assistants with adult and pediatric experience to join our welcoming and diverse community of Northwell providers. GoHealth Urgent Care partners with Northwell Health to operate over 50 urgent care centers in the NYC metro area and Long Island, offering state‑of‑the‑art technology, imaging, labs, and an advanced ECW EMR. The role provides autonomy with mentoring support, on‑site rad techs and medical assistants, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to rotate among locations.

Requirements

• Willingness to float to assigned centers for scheduled shifts: Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls, and Fishkill.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years full‑time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting treating patients ages 6 months and older.
• Comfortable performing minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.).
• Ability to read EKGs and X‑rays.

Pay

$90 per hour.
