URGENT CARE Physician Assistant

About the role

The Urgent Care office in Ocean City, Maryland seeks a Physician Assistant to join their team. The office is staffed by both physicians and physician assistants, with support from a variety of trained staff including receptionists, medical assistants, and x-ray technicians. The physician is on-site and actively sees patients.

Responsibilities

• See and treat patients of all ages
• Perform laceration repairs, I & D of abscesses and paronychia's, foreign body removal, toe nail removal
• Manage minor fractures and dislocations
• Splint and fracture stabilization
• Basic EKG and X-ray interpretation

Requirements

• NCCPA Certified
• BLS Certified, Eligible to take ACLS
• Educable to Maryland License
• New Graduates Welcome to Apply
• Must be able to see and treat patients of all ages
• Must be able to perform listed procedures
• Must be familiar with management of minor fractures and dislocations
• Should be able to perform basic EKG and X-ray interpretation
