About the role

Medicus is collaborating with reputable clinics in Austin, Texas, that offer opportunities for a Physician Assistant to provide locum Urgent Care coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide Urgent Care services at multiple clinic locations
• Treat up to 35-40 patients per shift
• Work flexible 12-hour shifts either weekdays or weekends
• Preferred workers' compensation experience
• Use EMR system Practice Velocity
• Paid travel and expenses during off-duty periods

Requirements

• Current Physician Assistant license in good standing
• At least one year of recent clinical experience
• Proficiency with EMR systems

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for urgent care and patient care
