Role Overview

This fellowship prepares physicians for a career in Urgent Care Medicine through a comprehensive 12-month program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in clinical rotations across various specialties
  • Participate in didactic sessions, seminars, research, and CME conferences
  • On-site rotations include Orthopedic, ENT, Radiology, Emergency Room, and Urgent Care
  • Off-site rotations cover Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and Dental
  • Additional training encompasses Practice Management, Ultrasound, Pain Management, ACLS, PALS, Suture, Casting, and Research projects

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduates of accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residencies
  • Board-certified or eligible
  • Possess or be eligible for California Medical and DEA licenses

Work Environment & Community

Practice at a 437-bed hospital with emergency services, trauma, stroke, and STEMI designation, located in scenic Southern California with access to diverse recreational activities, cultural events, and educational opportunities.
