Urgent Care APP (NP/PA) Part Time

When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives. We are currently searching for a part-time Advanced Practitioner to work in our Urgent Care clinic at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Performs thorough physical examinations while obtaining complete physical history
- Maintains patient record and relevant statistics by documenting patient information and care provided
- Evaluates and interprets data in an effort to ascertain preliminary diagnoses and to make therapeutic plan recommendations
- Administers medication and injections in compliance with state law and employer guidelines
- Obtains specimens for lab analysis, schedules and prepares patients for diagnostic testing
- Provides instructions to patient, family, and care providers relative to required medications, acts as a care advocate in providing recommendations
Requirements
- Graduate of a Master’s in Nursing program or a Physician Assistant program
- Certification and current NP or PA license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- DEA MCSR
- Some formal training in suturing
- Comfortable practicing in a fast-paced urgent care setting
- Dedicated to the delivery of outstanding care and customer service to patients and their families
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to function autonomously in the care of challenging patients
Qualifications
Experience as an NP in urgent care or another type of emergency care is ideal, but not required.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $54.70 - $74.40 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices.
