Schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- 7 shifts per 14-day period
- Flexible scheduling options available
Compensation
- $65–$80 per hour (overtime available)
- Productivity incentives and performance bonus opportunities
- Competitive compensation based on experience and clinical productivity
- Relocation assistance and/or signing bonus may be negotiable for qualified candidates based on location, experience, and business need
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent and episodic patient conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Perform procedures including laceration repair and splinting
- Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical staff
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner, preferably FNP, or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
- Active Kansas license, or ability to obtain
- DEA registration, or ability to obtain
- Current BLS certification
- Urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine experience preferred but not required

Education
Nurse Practitioner — FNP — or Physician Assistant degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure/Certification
- Must obtain and maintain an active professional license.
- Nurse Practitioners must hold current board certification.
- Must meet all state and federal licensing requirements, including DEA registration.
- Must maintain current Basic Life Support — BLS — certification.
Experience
One year of experience preferred but not required.
Skills
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, bloodborne pathogen standards, and related requirements.
- Proficiency with standard computer applications, including internet use, email, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate both new and existing provider staff.

- May be exposed to patient-related elements on an occasional basis.
- Work environment may involve unpredictable situations and frequent interruptions.
- May occasionally require irregular or extended work hours.
- Periodic exposure to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- May require lifting, carrying, or pushing equipment or assisting with patient movement.
