UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care, and specialty care. The clinical teams are improving outcomes, lowering hospital readmissions, and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. Responsibilities

• PRN; 12 hours minimum per month, one holiday per year
• Practice Locations:
  • Sunnybrook
    Monday – Friday: 9a-8p
    Saturday & Sunday: 8a-6p
  • Marketplace
    Monday & Friday: 9a-8p
    Tuesday & Thursday: 1p-8p
    Wednesday: 9a-5p
    Saturday & Sunday: 9a-1p
• Comfortable with laceration repair
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly, and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified
• Ideally 1-2 years of experience preferred
• ER experience preferred
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
