About the Role
We are looking for a Temporary Design Coordinator with a strong interest in Design Operations, a passion for the UO brand and its customers, and a commitment to highly detail-oriented and self-motivated work.
Responsibilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners.
- Willingness to learn about fabric, trims, wash and dye treatments and techniques.
- Highly organized with capacity to anticipate change.
- Assist in prepping team for seasonal benchmark meetings such as Sketch Review, Finalization, and Print + Color Day.
- Responsible for creating and updating the Seasonal Hierarchy Pyramids (linesheets) and XD Color Docs.
- Organize and maintain all TOP reference samples for team review, manage high-density and other sample racks as directed by manager.
- Create and update all style tech packs in Tradestone ensuring accuracy for the entire lifecycle of each style.
- Work closely with designers to ensure precise and timely responses to all approval requests and queries to cross-functional partners and overseas vendors.
- Work with print and fabric team to send out artwork in a timely manner to hit seasonal deadlines.
- Manage all outgoing international packages for cross-functional teams (Design, PD + Fabric).
- Maintain organized and up-to-date linesheets and assortment tools.

- Maintains courteous, professional email/phone and interpersonal relationships with cross-functional partners and vendors.
- Ability to format a professional and comprehensive email.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite; willing and eager to learn Tradestone, XD, and InDesign.
- Asks questions and strives for clarity, quickly learns from mistakes, and actively seeks solutions.
- Displays the ability to “find work” and offers to help teammates during downtime.
- Proficient in Tradestone and BOM maintenance.
