Urban Outfitters Art Director Assistant
Role Responsibilities
- Oversee photoshoots to ensure execution of the creative vision, directing on set teams, for high quality imagery that elevates the brand.
- Anticipate and resolve creative or logistical challenges during shoots to maintain efficiency and image quality.
- Assist the Art Director in creating and implementing visual concepts for various projects, including elevated ecomm and PDP photography.
- Act as a liaison between the production team and creative leads to organize and oversee photo shoots, including scheduling and building teams.
- Partner with the casting and styling teams to ensure product and models align with project creative direction and overall brand guidelines.
- Support the Art Director in concept ideation and building creative decks.
- Ensure all visual content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent aesthetic across all platforms.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging techniques in photography and design to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Role Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in photography or a related creative role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, familiarity with Capture One, knowledge of photography and lighting techniques, and styling principles.
- Creativity: Strong artistic vision and the ability to conceptualize and execute innovative ideas.
- Passion for fashion, art, and design, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with creative and cross-departmental team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
