Urban Designer/Landscape Architecture Leader

About the role

The Urban Designer or Landscape Architecture Design Leader will work on complex civic-focused projects in Cleveland or Columbus, OH. They will bring design leadership and foster a culture of design to an established design practice and diverse collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Work on local and national projects
• Drive a design process and communicate design visions internally and externally
• Facilitate the overall design process for complex multi-layered design problems and solutions
• Collaborate with partners across AECOM’s multi-disciplinary platform
• Support the development of a design studio culture
• Lead projects and participate in business development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design with 6+ years of relevant professional design experience
• Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design preferred
• Licensed Landscape Architect in Ohio within 6 months of hire
• Proficiency in Autodesk, Adobe Creative Suite, and at least one 3D modeling and rendering platform
• Experience in business development activities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proficiency in Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to create hand sketches for design workshops

$110,000 to $130,000 annually
