Upward Bound Programs School Success Coordinator at Reading High School

This is a part-time position funded for approximately 10-12 hours per month.

  • Gathering and providing all required program paperwork and documentation to the Upward Bound Programs full-time staff member working with UB and UB Math & Science (UBMS) students who attend Reading High School.

The position includes working with Upward Bound Programs, a federally funded program through the U.S. Department of Education, which Penn State currently has been awarded five UB/UBMS grants.

Additional requirements include:

  • The School Success Coordinator must be a current person working within the Reading School District.

Background Checks/Clearances

  • PA State Police Criminal Background Check
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance Form
  • Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check

Campus Security Crime Statistics

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).

The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
