About the role

Joining Uptown Cheapskate means being part of something bigger. As an Assistant Manager, you'll be part of Summit Recommerce Group (SRG), a multi-unit group operating nearly 30 locations across six states. SRG is led by the original founder of Uptown Cheapskate, who has a history of investing in her people, values, and community support.

Responsibilities

• Be helpful and nice to our customers - our store vibe is everything
• Presort incoming clothes, shoes, and accessories brought in from vendors
• Use our computer system to buy in and price incoming items
• Organize racks, tag and hang up clothing
• Ring out customers on the register and teach them how to sell to us
• Help make posts on our social media pages
• Merchandise! Organize clothing, handbags, and shoes, make the store look pretty!
• Perform opening and closing tasks (closing down systems, nightly reports, opening/closing tills)
• Manage inventory - transport back stock bins to and from storage unit using a company box truck
• Aid the Store Manager in leading the team
