The Position
The Country School is seeking an experienced teacher to teach English, with experience integrating writing with literature, utilizing book groups and genre studies, and a demonstrated commitment to working with middle school students.
Qualifications
- College degree (B.A./B.S. minimum; M.A. preferred)
- Teaching experience at the middle school level (5+ years preferred)
- Knowledge of language arts pedagogy, curriculum, and teaching methods
- Commitment to working with adolescents and to teaching in the middle school
- Interest in curriculum development, assessment, and differentiated instruction
- Computer literacy and experience in integrating technology
- Personal skills needed to work collaboratively within the team of Upper School faculty
Benefits
The Country School’s daily pay range for this role is $250-280/Day. If selected for the role, your rate will be determined by your experience and qualifications.
