Upper School Computer Science Teacher
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Teach 3 Upper School classes: Computer Programming I, Advanced Computer Science I, Advanced Computer Science II
- Afford assistance with supervisory duties, including study hall proctoring and lunchroom supervision
Key Skills and Qualities
- Bachelor's degree or strong relevant coursework in computer science
- Experience working with high school students
- Inspiring, positive, high-capacity, and adaptable
- Able to manage a complex calendar and meet deadlines
- Eagerness to pursue continuous improvement with feedback
- Superb oral and written communication skills
- Background working in a Macintosh environment or ability to adapt quickly
- Bachelor's degree or strong relevant coursework in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Highly developed cultural competency skills, with a demonstrated commitment to furthering the creation of an equitable and inclusive school community that supports a sense of belonging for all students
