About the role

Greene Resources is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist to join a growing and dynamic team for a full‑time temporary assignment (3 to 5 months) in Morrisville, NC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare solutions and standards, aliquot samples, and support extraction‑related preparation activities per established protocols.
• Sort, plate, transfer, and organize biological samples while maintaining sample integrity and accurate chain‑of‑custody documentation.
• Operate laboratory instruments and automation systems, including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and system performance checks.
• Perform and document work within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Follow sample storage, inventory management, safety, quality, and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in a clinical testing, regulated laboratory, or high‑throughput laboratory environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a physical, biological, or related science (e.g., chemistry, biology, clinical chemistry, biochemistry).
• Foundational knowledge of biological systems, laboratory operations, and common analytical workflows, including chromatography, mass spectrometry, and laboratory automation.
• Experience with laboratory automation systems, liquid handling robotics, or LIMS is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow written procedures, and commitment to quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Pay

$23 to $25 per hour
