About the role

The WROC-TV/RochesterFirst News 8 internship program offers students the chance to apply classroom theory to practical experience in the radio broadcasting industry. Interns can explore their creative talents, enhance their analytical skills, and deepen their understanding of broadcasting operations and trends.

Responsibilities

• Test creative talent
• Exercise analytical skills
• Increase understanding of broadcasting operations and trends
• Work in areas such as News, Promotion, Digital Media, Sales, Weather, and Sports

Requirements

• 18 years of age
• Enrolled in an accredited school, college, or university
• Able to provide a letter from the student's school stating that the student will be granted credit for the internship
