Principle Duties And Responsibilities
- Work closely with your assigned supervisor in each area and ask questions when needed.
- Be timely and ready to work when expected.
- Contact your supervisor immediately if you cannot make a scheduled meeting or job.
- Use personal cell phones only during approved breaks or lunches, or during field trips or community activities, with authorization.
- Lock your personal vehicle at all program sites.
- Act as a role model for the individuals you may be working with.
- Wear neat, clean, comfortable clothing that is washable, appropriate for the day's activities, and does not pose a safety hazard.
- Do not communicate with families/guardians using personal cell phones while at any program site.
- Use company phones for communication with families/guardians.
- Understand and respect the rights of the individuals receiving services from Springbrook, including their right to confidentiality and participation in society.
- Treat others as you would like to be treated.
- Follow Springbrook’s dress code.
- Report any abuse to your supervisor or Springbrook’s Human Resources Department.
- Sign in at designated areas when reporting to your work location.
- Complete required online training modules through Springbrook’s Learning Management System.
Qualifications
Springbrook is flexible with the requirements for your particular program. You may be working in any one of our areas of service provision, including Day Habilitation, Education, Residential, Community Homes, or any other applicable department. You should be able to work independently and follow instructions closely.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with diverse populations, and a willingness to learn about developmental disabilities are essential.
