About the role
The Clinician Unlicensed provides mental health support services to members served and their families at the program. They assist in coordinating all mental health support services provided by the Team, including coordinating and collaborating with team members and external agencies.
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health support services to members served and their families.
- Coordinate and collaborate with team members and external agencies such as the Conservator’s Office, Public Guardian’s Office, Probation Department, County Behavioral Health Services, and housing and inpatient providers.
Requirements
- Registered with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences: Must have ASW, AMFT, or APCC.
- Valid and current license.
- Master’s Degree in Social Sciences.
- One (1) year direct service experience with mentally ill individuals.
Qualifications
- Experience with mental health crisis intervention.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
- Knowledge of San Mateo County behavioral health services and resources.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in mental health assessment and treatment planning.

Pay
Expected starting wage range is $43.04 - $53.15. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
Schedule
Shifts available include On-Call, with shifts and days varying as needed.
