Position responsibilities

Manage and maintain Unix/Linux servers and systems
Implement and manage automation tools for deployment
Maintain system performance and troubleshoot issues
Collaborate with development and operations teams
Ensure system security and compliance
Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures

Required skills

Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
Knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker)
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Desired skills

Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
Experience with virtualization tools (e.g., VMware)
Expertise in high-availability systems and disaster recovery
