About the role
The University of Warwick Hockey Club is seeking a performance squad coach for the 2026/27 season. The club provides a supportive environment with excellent facilities and competitive matches.
Responsibilities
- Deliver two high-quality training sessions per week for both the 1st XI and 2nd XI, which train at the same time.
- Lead sessions focusing on individual development and fostering a competitive team atmosphere.
- Guide players in preparation for BUCS and Saturday league fixtures.
Requirements
- A level two coaching qualification with relevant experience in BUCS hockey.
- Ability to attend BUCS and Saturday league fixtures.
Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with a level two coaching qualification and prior experience in BUCS hockey.
Skills
- Strong leadership skills.
- Experience in delivering high-quality training sessions.
- Knowledge of BUCS hockey rules and regulations.
