About the role
The University of Rochester is seeking Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants (EPAs) to join its regional affiliates in the Southern Tier. Opportunities include rotating at Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville NY, St. James Hospital, Hornell NY, and Noyes Memorial Hospital, Dansville NY.
Responsibilities
- Rotating at designated hospitals within the Southern Tier
- Assisting physicians in emergency care settings
- Performing diagnostic tests and treatments under physician supervision
- Providing patient education and counseling
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience for 1st Chair position
- New grads welcome for 2nd Chair position, with 1-2 years of experience preferred
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York State
- Current DEA registration
