The Opportunity:

The Summer Games is an innovative internship program designed to develop breakthrough ideas or solutions for complex problems faced by our customers. Interns work on challenging projects in a simulated real-world startup accelerator environment, receiving mentorship from senior leaders and leveraging the power of collaboration.

About the Role

Join a dynamic team of interns who tackle real-world challenges, contributing to cutting-edge projects and gaining valuable technical skills. The program culminates in a final Challenge Cup competition and presentation to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity solutions using networking concepts, virtualization, and operating systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems and contribute to innovative projects.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and design artifacts as part of the project.
  • Present findings and insights to senior leadership during the final Challenge Cup.

Requirements

  • Experience in cybersecurity, preferably in an academic setting.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including the OSI model.
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies.
  • Proficiency with Linux and Windows systems.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Winter 2027 or 2028, Spring 2027 or 2028.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
