Insight Credit Union is looking for a passionate trusted financial advisor who has the desire to provide an excellent service experience to our members. A Universal Representative must be engaging, energetic, and personable to complete processes quickly while building a trusted financial advisor relationship with members.
About the role
This position is located in our Winter Springs Branch at: 1450 Tuskawilla Rd., Suite 100, Winter Springs, FL 32708. Time spent in various aspects of this role will vary depending upon branch traffic and needs.
Responsibilities
- Consistently produce a high volume of sales production while servicing both on the teller line and platform.
- Seek opportunities to improve financial lives by offering products that will benefit the member.
- Consistently meet or exceed credit union monthly, quarterly, and annual sales referral goals.
- Refer deposit accounts, consumer loans, and general services; refer mortgage and commercial loans to appropriate credit union departments.
- Identify future opportunities to serve the member's financial needs and follow up at the appropriate time to deepen member relationships.
- Receive and process/post member/non-member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; sell money orders and gift cards; transfer amounts from member accounts as directed.
- Balance cash drawer and daily transactions, including start-of-day and end-of-day reports; maintain appropriate records.
- Research and resolve any outages before reporting overage or shortages to management.
- Deliver exceptional member service by ensuring timely response to member and visitor requests; initiate a warm and welcoming environment.
- Assess requests using consultative and needs-based discussions to determine the best servicing channel (teller line, branch lobby, or video office).
- Guide members seamlessly through processes, sales, service, and any channel (phone, branch, online banking, mobile).
- Assist with initiating and completing a variety of services, including account maintenance, debit card and check orders, wire transfers, ACH requests, and fraud inquiries.
- Handle vehicle title documents.
- Open new memberships and accounts depending upon branch traffic needs.
- Educate members about self-banking options (Online Banking, Mobile Banking, e-Statements, ATMs, Remote Deposit Capture) and encourage adoption.
- Handle outbound call lists weekly to increase member awareness of product offerings that best fit their financial needs.
- Assist in the call center queue, including SMS and chat, on a rotation basis when assigned.
- Assist management by maintaining appropriate records and preparing required reports (Check Hold Audits, Teller Cash Drawer Audits, Retention Records).
- Maintain cash over & short log and report out-of-balance conditions according to procedure.
- Resolve problems within authority; refer issues beyond authority to supervisor with recommendations.
- Open and close safe deposit boxes for members where applicable; escort members to their safe deposit box.
- Adhere to all safe deposit box procedures.
- Maintain cash machine where applicable.
- Perform branch opening and closing processes.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One to three years of similar or related experience.
- A high school education or GED.
- Must be able to pass a credit and background check; any job offer is contingent on results.
Skills
- Interpersonal skills: Work involves frequent personal contact for conflict resolution, relationship-building, and soliciting cooperation, requiring diplomacy and tact.
- Able to operate a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to talk or hear, sit or stand, and walk or maneuver around the branch.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Schedule
- 32-40 hours per week between Monday - Friday (8am - 6pm) and Saturday (9am - 12pm).
- Hours will be based on the needs of the department.

The position includes a training program at one of our training locations.
