General Duties And Responsibilities
- Models Q2 Service and Sales programs with creativity and energy to achieve goals and exceed quality standards.
- Takes personal initiative and serves as a positive role model for others.
- Buys customer relationships by representing QNB courteously, confidentially, and professionally, and by providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service through consultative selling and cross-selling.
- Evaluates customer needs using open-ended questions and refers customers to the appropriate resources.
- Opens, closes, and services all types of deposit products, capable of taking and disbursing loans.
- Performs branch functions requiring a deep understanding of branch transactions, including balancing cash drawers, ATMs, Vaults, and ensuring daily office settlements.
- Aids in the training of personnel and may serve on committees, such as the Safety Committee, where they provide training based on information from committee meetings.
- Assists in processes and prepares branch cash and settlement activities.
- Supports the community through involvement and participation in local volunteer and charitable organizations.
- Completes assigned compliance training in a timely manner and applies training to duties and responsibilities.
Required Availability
- Regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time - all day if necessary.
- Available during all operating branch hours, including holidays and weekends.
Required Training, Experience And Education
- Proficient in all aspects of the job.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Complete Universal Banker Certification Checklist and fulfill re-certification requirements annually.
- Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank positively when dealing with both internal and external customers.
- Strong reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent (completion of some college courses preferred but not required).
- Fulfill QNB compliance in operations and security procedures by adhering to government regulations, QNB policy, and established procedures.
- PA Notary as needed by the Branch (to be determined by Branch Manager), maintaining the Notary status by completing the renewal package before expiration.
Preferred Training, Experience And Education
- Successful completion of Banking Fundamentals and Consumer Lending.
- Strong product knowledge and active promotion of Q2 Sales and Service, referrals, and product campaigns.
