About the role
As a Universal Banker within PNC's retail organization, you will acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. You will manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing, collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customer share of wallet, and position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions with a defined sales process, including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement to elevate client loyalty.
- Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions.
- Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
- Create customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience.
- Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
- Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
- Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively to drive customer loyalty.
- Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits and heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss.
- Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring they are completed in an efficient and accurate manner.

- Work Experience: Typically requires 3+ years of related experience or product knowledge. Roles at this level typically require an Associate's degree or equivalent.
- Education: No degree required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
- Licenses: Candidates being considered for this position will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.
- PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
Pay
Base Salary: $45,375.00 – $75,625.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
