About the role

The Universal Banker (UB) Supervisor at Apple Bank is a full-service, multi-skilled position that includes responsibilities as a Supervisor, Customer Service Representative, and Teller. This role requires the incumbent to lead the branch in the absence of management, handle financial transactions, train new employees, and support sales efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging clients and resolving service-related issues promptly.
• Oversee the branch in the absence of management, approve or override financial transactions, and assist with training new employees.
• Absorb managerial duties, resolve issues, and support branch management with opening/closing the branch.
• Acquire new banking relationships by discussing customer needs and offering suitable products and services.
• Open/close and oversee the banking office, communicate disclosures, and adhere to regulatory policies.
• Perform additional duties as requested.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of combined retail banking experience in Teller/Customer Service Representative roles.
• 1-2 years of bank supervisory experience in teller units or platforms, preferably fully cross-trained.
• Prior experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships.
• Knowledge of banking operations, risk, compliance, fraud, loss, and basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities.
• Ability to present a confident, professional, and positive demeanor, and sound judgment when dealing with confidential information.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
• Willingness to be cross-trained in other branch functions.
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours, or fill in at neighboring branches.
