About the role

The position involves providing timely and efficient completion of client transactions, maintaining accurate records, and delivering superior quality service. Cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a focus on assisting with outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

Responsibilities

  • Engage clients with smiling, facilitating courteous conversation, conducting both complex and standardized transactions while uncovering needs.
  • Perform more complex transactions with assistance as necessary.
  • Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
  • Support team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities.
  • Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
  • Attend sales, service, and product knowledge meetings and training classes.
  • Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
  • Stays informed of all changes in policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current guidelines.
  • Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services to clients and prospects.
  • Handles proportionate volume of work based on branch demands.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
  • Master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
  • One year of client relationship building or sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and loss prevention preferred.
  • General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures preferred.

Skills
