Responsibilities

  • Manages overall branch client experience.
  • Engages clients with exceptional customer service while ensuring they understand digital and mobile banking options.
  • Greet and thank customers, check in clients with appointments, and assist walk-in customers.
  • Identifies and sells financial services to meet clients' short-and-long term needs.
  • Processes all types of financial transactions, balances cash, and assists with vault, ATM, cash recycler, and armored car duties.
  • Maintains and sells financial services to clientele through profiling and product knowledge.
  • Sells consumer credit products, interviews, processes applications, and closes accounts.
  • Trains new employees on operational procedures.
  • Manages calling efforts, referrals, sales tracking, and prospecting to achieve personal and team goals.
  • Assists with overrides and approvals of unusual transactions and questions.
  • Exercises prudent use of signing authority.
  • Trains new employees on sales procedures.
  • Maintains close contact with customers and prospects, makes appreciation calls, and promotes the Bank and its products and services.
  • Keeps informed of current bank policies, procedures, federal laws and regulations, and maintains knowledge of new products, programs, and sales promotions.
  • Assists in gathering, preparing, and/or monitoring reports.
  • Mitigates risks by adhering to bank guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

  • Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (if not yet registered, must be completed and accepted within 30 days of employment or transfer).
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D., or equivalent related work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in consumer sales, marketing, customer service, and small business.
  • Demonstrated success in retail and digital banking environments.
  • 2+ years of teller experience.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to advance skills in various areas of personal finance, including investments, insurance, mortgage, etc.
  • Working knowledge and skills proficiency in Customer Experience, Laws & Regulations, Technology Literacy, Communication, Accuracy & Efficiency, Agility, Risk Management, and Relationship Building.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill proficiency in Product/Service Knowledge, Problem Solving, Consultative Solutions, and Results Driven.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
  • Must be able to develop strong working relationships with all employees at various levels.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to provide own transportation and arrive at intended destination in a timely manner and/or as required.
  • Must be able to push/lift 30 lbs.
  • Relief staff must be able to work at different locations.

Qualifications
