Universal Banker (FT & PT)

About the Role

This position serves customers in multiple areas of the bank. The Universal Banker is required to function independently, professionally, and with courtesy while following all established policies and procedures to minimize the bank's exposure to risk. The role demands high flexibility to adapt to various daily work duties and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in opening new deposit accounts, including but not limited to personal and business checking and savings accounts, certificates of deposit, IRAs, and debit cards.
• Recognize needs-based sales opportunities and make referrals for loans, Merchant Card, and Cash Management Services.
• Handle all types of account maintenance, such as stop payments, address changes, research requests, ordering checks, and wire transfers.
• Receive checks and cash for deposit to checking and savings accounts, verify deposit amounts, and examine checks for endorsement and negotiability.
• Examine cash for validity and process transactions.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals from checking and savings accounts upon verification of signatures and account records.
• Receive payments on loans and prepare appropriate entries.
• Sell monetary instruments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-year frontline banking experience or equivalent work experience in sales, customer service, or financial services.
